Pumbaa is the National Education Coordinator for Bikers Are Buddies and is the driving force behind the Education program. He is Red Cross certified in Psychological First Aid and enjoys riding either his Harley or his Vulcan to events.
Just like her mermaid namesake, Ariel has her “fins” or feet in two worlds, as a mother of two adult sons, and one daughter in a hurry to get there, a career woman about to celebrate 30 years with the same company, and as a proud member of Bikers Are Buddies as Calgary Outreach Coordinator. Having faced much adversity in her own life, and seeing bullying and abuse affect young and old, men and women, people of different backgrounds and beliefs, it’s been a privilege to be able to be a part of BAB and its Education Program to go out to share our anti-bullying message with children, youth, educators, and parents in order to help not only those facing bullying, but also to support and raise awareness in the people around them.
Beaker is the National President of Bikers Are Buddies.

Dashing and daring, courageous and caring
Faithful and friendly with stories to share
When a friend’s in danger they’ll be there
Lives and legends that we all can share
They are the Gummi Bears… errr… Bikers Are Buddies – lyrics 100% borrowed from theme song Gummi Bears

My name is Sweetums, (named after the Muppets hairy ogre)and I’m the President of Bikers Are Buddies and one of the original members of our group. I have always tried to be there for all of our members as well as supporting our fellow riding groups in their community works. I’m a friend and confidant to many, and stand strong in support of our Education Program and other anti-bullying initiatives. When I’m not out riding, you’ll find myself, my group, and my girl Ariel out representing Bikers Are Buddies in the BAB booth at various events. It’s my hope that our Education Team is able to come and share our message with children, youth, parents, teachers, and care-givers as this issue affects everyone and it’s our goal to provide education, information, support, and contacts for those in need.
No fellow human should hold the power to bring you down, define who you are or destroy your AWESOMENESS. Smiles and kindness bring so much more to humanity than negativity. Support, acceptance and help are all that is needed when you see someone is struggling.
